Training was done. Mikey was trying to climb the tree. Splinter called his three oldest sons to him.
“Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello,” Splinter said, “I would like to have a mediation session today. I need you three to watch Michelangelo today. He needs to work on his studies and take a bath.”
Raph scoffed, “it hardly takes three of us to watch a nine-year-old,” Raph said.
“Then tell me where is he?” Splinter asked.
“That’s easy,” Raph said, “in the tree.”
“Try again,” Splinter said.
Raph looked around Mikey was nowhere to be found.
“What the hell,” Raph said.
“He’s watching TV,” Leo said casually.
“What the—” he said seeing his brother’s feet as he lay upside down on the couch.
“And yes father we can watch him,” Leo said obediently.
“It will be fun. I love teaching Mikey,” Donnie said going off

Mikey was the self proclaimed cook of the family and it was something that he was very proud of. He didn’t mind being the cook. He took pride in being able to provide for his family in such a way. The only real downside was that Mikey wasn’t the cleanest of chefs.
He could just be making a simple bowl of cereal but had the innate ability to somehow manage to make a mess all over the counters. Putting together a batch of brownies was a guarantee to create a mess not only all over the kitchen but over himself as well.
With bits of chocolate, flour, and eggs clinging to his skin, Mikey headed into the bathroom so he could get all cleaned up. As nice as a shower would be, the bathtub was calling his name. Bubble baths were a pastime that Mikey didn’t get to indulge in very often but he couldn’t resist the temptation today.
Excitedly Mikey turned the water on full blast and grabbed a bottle of Mr. Bubble
Summary: Neither Raph nor Mikey can focus of practice and find their own way to work out

Training was something that should be taken very seriously as far as Leo was concerned. It was a time for them to practice their skills and prepare themselves for whenever they went topside to make sure that they would all come home alive. It was not a time to be goofing off.
Raph was of a slightly different opinion. He knew that their skills as ninjas were what kept them alive in battle and that practice was how they kept those skills sharp. That didn’t mean that he was a fan of Leo’s style of teaching when they were having their afternoon practice.
They had already been in the dojo for about two hours and Leo didn’t seem like he was about to be slowing down anytime soon. Part of that Raph knew was due to the fact that he had been late to the beginning of practice but that wa
It's fine... (part 1)He’d noticed it a few days ago. Mikey was normally open and outgoing, constantly happy with boundless energy. Recently he'd changed. Lately Mikey had become quite, he did not constantly talk or cook any longer. Normally after dinner Mikey would drag them into the living room and force them to watch whatever show was on. But tonight………not only had Mikey barely spoken but when they had finished eating Mikey had collected their bowls before leaving and vanishing into his room.
Now Donnie stood there, Mikey’s door in front of him. Biting his lip Donnie strained his ears. He couldn’t hear beyond the wooden door, he couldn’t tell if Mikey was awake or not. Taking a breath he moved, reaching out to gently knock on the wooden surface; the sound of his raptures echoing down the empty hallway. For several moments there was silence; but then Mikey’s voice met his ears. “Who is it?”

Michelangelo felt like crap. He'd only meant to shut Donny down, not actually stomp all over his feelings.
Don wasn't anything like Raph and when he'd tried to talk to Mikey about sex it was probably because he was genuinely concerned that what the older three brothers were doing might alienate the youngest brother.
If Mikey hadn't been so quick to snap at Don, his genius brother would probably have found a more delicate way of broaching the subject. Mikey's harsh criticism had gotten Don all flustered and he'd blurted out an offer that had then made Mikey defensive.
Mikey knew that his tongue could be razor sharp, but he'd never used it on Don. He now understood that he shouldn't have been so reactionary; he should have let Don explain things in his own way. It wouldn't have been difficult to keep Don from going into details.
An intelligent conversation would have given Mikey the chance to tell Donny to stop bringing up the subject. Mike

A noise from the kitchen told Mikey he wasn't the first one to get up this morning. He had slept very little the night before, even after a three hour run, and he wasn't in the mood to face his brothers. Giving up on trying to sleep and rising so early was supposed to guarantee that he had the kitchen to himself.
Mikey stopped and debated on going back upstairs. He could always just wait until someone called him down to practice and eat his breakfast afterwards, knowing that no one would bother him then.
Setting his shoulders, Mikey decided against that idea. He was not going to go through the rest of his life feeling out of place and uncomfortable in his own home. Striving to keep his expression completely neutral, Mikey strode into the kitchen.
He almost sighed with relief when he saw Leo. Mikey amended his earlier thought; he wasn't in the mood to face Raph or Don, but so far Leo hadn't treated him any differently than normal. Normal w
